1. Introduction

FaceGlow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we process your information. Our core principle is: We do not collect or store your personal identity data.

2. Data Collection and Processing

Visual Data: To provide skin analysis, the app requires access to your camera. Photos taken are transmitted via secure, encrypted channels to authorized AI service providers for real-time analysis.

Transient Processing: Images are processed temporarily to generate your skin report. Once the analysis is complete and delivered to your device, the images are automatically deleted from the processing servers.

No Training: Your visual data is not used to train or improve AI models.

Account Data: We do not collect names, emails, or addresses. No account creation is required.

2a. Third-Party AI Service Provider

To perform skin analysis, the app transmits your facial photo to our third-party AI service provider. Below is a summary of this data sharing:

• What data is shared: Your facial photo captured via the device camera. The image is compressed and resized before transmission. No other personal identifiers (name, email, device ID) are attached to the image.
• Who receives the data: Our AI-powered analysis is processed through a secure backend service that utilizes an AI service provider for image analysis.
• Purpose: The sole purpose of sharing this data is to generate your personalized skin analysis report. The data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the analysis results.
• Data retention: All API requests are made with data storage disabled (store: false). Your images are not retained, stored, or cached on the AI provider's servers after processing is complete.
• No AI training: Your facial photos and analysis data are never used to train, improve, or fine-tune any AI or machine learning models.
• Equal protection: Our third-party AI service provider is contractually required to maintain the same or greater level of data protection as described in this Privacy Policy, including encryption in transit and no data retention.

User Consent: Before any facial photo is transmitted for analysis, the app displays a Data Sharing Notice within the app and requires your explicit consent. You may decline, and no data will be sent. Your consent preference is stored locally on your device.

3. Data Security

All data transmission is protected using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. We do not sell or share your data with third-party advertisers.

4. User Control

You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings. Deleting the app removes all locally stored analysis history.
